Tammy Johnson: Mental Wellbeing and Support

My name is Tammy Johnson and currently employed as Senior Public Health Specialist for the City of Wolverhampton Council. Throughout my career I have been dedicated to supporting the physical, emotional, and hormonal wellbeing to support colleagues and wider staff members.

My interests focus on providing a safe space for women to feel understood, empowered, and confident by information sharing and signposting, without judgement.

With vast experience in the health and wellbeing space I offer a breadth of knowledge and practical solutions to incorporating female health as a priority in the workplace.

Employers supported the offer because I take a wholeperson approach—combining expertise, empathy, and tailored guidance rather than a onesizefitsall model. My goal is always to help women make sustainable, meaningful changes that improve their longterm wellbeing.

I’ve come to know Diane and Bourne2Care through our shared commitment to raising the standard of women’s health support in our community. Together, since 2018, we have collaborated to ensure women receive joinedup, accessible, and highquality care. I believe this partnership is important because no woman should feel alone, dismissed, or unsure where to turn when it comes to her health.

Abbie Jones: Grief Recovery Specialist

I am a Grief Recovery Method Specialist, compassionately guiding individuals through their unique grief journeys.

I support womens wellbeing by recognising how grief affects every aspect of life, such as physical health, hormones, sleep, relationships, and overall quality of life.

Through the Grief Recovery Programme, I provide a structured, compassionate space to process loss. Grief permeates multiple health dimensions, so addressing it effectively requires understanding its interaction with physical and hormonal changes.

As a community nurse for over 25 years, I developed a passion for empowering others through holistic, individualised care. My commitment to grief support stems from personal losses, including my husband and other immediate family members. I understand the complexity of grief both personally and professionally.

My services offer something uniquely different from counselling and therapy. While these can benefit you, the Grief Recovery Method provides specific tools and skills to resolve issues experienced by loss, build emotional resilience and discover life beyond loss.

I believe the most effective support comes through collaboration. I seek to work alongside menopause specialists like Diana to provide comprehensive care addressing both griefs emotional impact and menopauses physiological changes, ensuring women receive holistic support during challenging life transitions.

Alena Morton: Physical Trainer & Coach

I’m Alena Morton, a menopause-focused strength coach helping women in perimenopause and menopause regain strength, confidence and energy when they feel lost in their own bodies. I coach using simple, realistic strength training and balanced nutrition, no fads, no guilt, not perfect, just sustainable habits that fit real life.

Before this, I spent years as a management accountant, a world completely different to coaching. But approaching 50, going through menopause myself, and feeling exhausted, anxious, and unsupported, I realised I wanted to create the kind of help I never had with fitness, strength training and menopause. So I completely retrained as a Level 2 & Level 3 Personal Trainer with additional women’s strength training qualifications.

Diane found me on social media a couple of years ago. We met for a drink and instantly clicked. She told me she’d lost her mojo, felt sluggish and unfit, and wanted her spark back. She started training with me and transformed. Stronger, fitter, healthier, happier… and suddenly the number on the scales didn’t matter anymore.

We’ve worked together ever since, and this collaboration feels like the natural next step. Women deserve joined-up support, medical, emotional and lifestyle and together we can offer exactly that.

Testimonials

Leah Bannister

I cannot recommend Bourne2care more highly!
I've been seeing Diane now for 2 and a half years for my HRT treatment.
She is kind, patient and understanding and truly makes how you're feeling valid.
I've had terrible experiences with GPs with my perimenopause symptoms and have never been taken seriously, but Diane has always taken the time to listen to my concerns and worries and responds in a kind & caring manner, adjusting my treatment when needed.
I really don't know where I'd be without her, she's truly helped me get back to being me again and being a functioning human!!

TB - Surrey

I have been a client of Diane’s since 2021. I needed help and advice due to unmanaged menopause symptoms. From my very first appointment and still to this day I have received expert medical advice, support, a listening ear and a prescription for the correct HRT to manage my symptoms. Diane also offers advice on lifestyle, stress and generally keeping well. As a poor absorber I have had to make a few changes to my prescription over the years, due to Diane’s knowledge this has always been straight forward. I completely trust Diane, getting my HRT right is vital to me leading the best life I can through this menopause journey.

Janet Baker

As a private, independent BMS registered menopause nurse specialist, with a wealth of menopause knowledge, Diane has spoken on several occasions at our local menopause group, MenoTalk Halesowen.

She has always given great presentations, clearly explaining important facts and figures, answering a wide range of questions and offering solutions and thoughts in relation to issues raised;  covering symptoms, HRT, complementary and alternative suggestions.

A veritable mine of information, Diane is always a very welcome and popular speaker at the group meetings.

As a consequence of her obvious knowledge and ability to present, I have also recommended her to several organisations who have approached me for professional menopause speakers.
